Nurturing neurodivergent children isn’t about changing them.
It’s about changing us.
Parents, if you feel like you need a degree in child psychology to raise your neurodivergent child, you’re in the right place.
Teachers, if you feel there is so much more to learn to best support your neurodivergent students, I’m here for you.
But first, why is this so hard?
It’s hard because we are raising and teaching neurodivergent learners in a neurotypical culture of expectations. We need classrooms and communities that adapt to the reality of neurodiversity. We need strategies that help our kids grow into who they are authentically meant to be. This isn’t about changing our kids. It’s about changing us.

Meet Dr. Emily
I’ve spent the last 20 years working with neurodivergent children and teens alongside their families and teachers in schools and in clinical practice. I’ve walked parents through the process of their child's diagnosis, attended hundreds of IEP meetings, and consulted with K-12 teachers, support staff, and public & private school administrators.
I lean on my clinical and personal experience to help parents and educators shift their mindset to discover how creating a safe relationships, supporting a child’s unique skill development, and nurturing interests fosters emotional resilience that leads to more effective learning.
