Who is qualified to diagnose autism, ADHD, giftedness, and/or learning disabilities? What are the differences in training between a pediatrician, psychologist, or psychiatrist? How do office visits with each of these providers vary?
What is the difference between receiving a free evaluation by a school psychologist and having my child evaluated by a psychologist in private practice or a hospital clinic? How do I know if I need a specialist?
When is the best time to get my child evaluated and how early or late can these tests be done? Do we have to repeat these evaluations? Why and how often?
What do I do with the results? You’ll learn how to read a test report and translate that information into supporting your child and communicating their needs to teachers.
