Summer, Siblings, & Screens

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Ways to foster your child’s motivation and interests this summer away from the stress of school

  • Visual scheduling hacks including calendars, lists, systems to keep up with all the things!

  • When and how to schedule separate sibling activities and when to work on collaborative play and teamwork

  • Helping siblings understand each other’s differences, especially when there are different expectations for one sibling due to a disability

  • Teaching siblings to repair conflict without the empty “I’m sorry”

  • Understanding all the different types of screen use, when screens can be used effectively for downtime, and strategies for setting up boundaries around screens
